On Friday May 23, 2014 Friends of Walgrove will be sponsoring a Walk-A-Thon to raise funds to support the family funded (not LAUSD) Physical Education Program for Walgove Elementary. For less than $20,000 a year, the 350 students at Walgrove are able to enjoy a proper Physical Education which includes team sports, yoga and hands on training in living an active life.
