Catch The Art Of Chase Solo Exhibit on Abbot Kinney

Chase, a world renowned street artist and one of the most prolific and widely recognized muralists in Venice, will be featuring his work in a solo exhibit Thursday night at Abbot Kinney's World Wide Mind.

His signature style of bold colorful graphics, layered with positive affirmations of joy, truth, love and self awareness can be found throughout the neighborhood, from various facades along the Boardwalk, to the stairway at Full Circle Venice on Rose, to the front fence at The Venice Love Shack on Lincoln Blvd.

This past weekend, while Chase started on his latest project at Wavecrest and Ocean Front Walk, one of his biggest inspirations, Rip Cronk, was on the opposite side of the street spraying fresh paint on his "Homage to a Starry Night," originally created in 1990.

Chase Instagrammed the two of them together saying, "Hanging with the legend Rip Cronk. Painting his first wall in Venice Beach in 1980, this man had truly shaped what Venice looks like. Countless walls later, he's still at it. Such an inspiration! // #pioneer#venicebeach #ripcronk #tripleog Photo: @hashimthomas"

Chase's solo exhibit runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at World Wide Mind located at 1306 Abbot Kinney Blvd.
