Free movies on the Santa Monica Pier continue this Friday night with Wes Anderson's highly stylized dramatic comedyThe Grand Budapest Hotel. Guests settling in typically enjoy DJ jams before the shows begin, but tonight, outdoor moviegoers will enjoy a free concert by indie-pop band Saint Motel. They're huge Anderson fans as well, and recorded a cover of The Who's "A Quick One While He's Away" for the album I Saved Latin, A Tribute To Wes Anderson.

Bring your own low chairs and beach blankets, or rent one of the old-timey lawn chairs available for the event. Food and drinks are also available for purchase. The cinema lounge opens at 6 p.m., Saint Motel performs at 6:45 p.m., and the movie starts at 8 p.m.
