The Anchor Opening Soon: Oysters and Craft Beer On Main
The Anchor, an "NYC meets Venice" wine and craft beer bar featuring oysters, small plates and homemade charcuterie, including duck prosciutto and lomo, announced today that it will open next Thursday, August 21 for dinner.
"We're looking forward to seeing old friends, meeting new friends, and kicking our first guest out. Come on by and say hi," owners Sandy Ames and Kristen Ciccolella announced.
Located in the Venice Renaissance Building (the one with the Ballerina Clown that started kicking and then stopped again) on Main Street, The Anchor takes up the former location of Vardo Venice. Get excited for fresh, inventive dishes from Executive Chef Walter el Nagar, a Venice local, who did the pop-up restaurant called Babershop at Local 1205 on Abbot Kinney last October. And according to other social media teasing, it looks like some cool interior style is going to come courtesy of artist Gregory Siff and playlists from NYC DJ Sarah Lewitinn.
More to come.
