With the dust barely settled in Black Rock City, the spirit of Burning Man lived on in Venice last night during night one of the Venice Art Crawl's third annual Afterburn.

Art cars nestled in among the palm trees for the special two-day event and final Crawl of the year. Charlie The Unicorn made his second Afterburn appearance with KCRW's Jason Bentley among the lineup of guest DJs.

For the past two years, the Afterburn has been held on Rose Avenue during the brief 6 to 10 p.m. window of the quarterly fall Crawl. This time, the event was relocated to the beach, just beyond Windward Plaza for a more elaborate, multi-sensory art festival.

The good vibes carry on today starting at noon.
