On the heels of a beautiful Memorial Day weekend, it feels like summer's in full swing. Today we have the annual Venice Wipeout Sale to stock up on all of our surf and summer apparel needs, and tomorrow is the annual Venice Spring Fling on the Boardwalk at Windward.

Earlier this week we celebrated National Burger Day and compiled a list of some of the best burgers around Venice. From craft burgers to good old fashioned grilled burgers at the beach, here's a list of your favorites. Did we miss a burger you love? Do tell!

We also received two big lineup announcements for summer concerts at the Santa Monica Pier. The free Twilight Concert Series kicks off July 10 with the Cults and runs every Thursday through September 11 with an awesome assortment of music – something for everyone. Another of our favorites from last summer, the Way Over Yonder Fest, will be back again this year with headliners including Lucinda Williams, Jackson Browne and Local Natives. We'll have to wait until late September before this two-day folk fest to roll through town, but this is your heads up that tickets go on sale June 4 (Pre-sale June 2).

Finally, if you haven't yet seen Chef the movie, GO SEE IT! If you love food, Venice cameos, heartwarming stories, Sophia Vergara's accent, or all of the above, you will not be disappointed.
