Mend (letsmend.com) is a Venice-based startup that helps to heal the brokenhearted with on-demand emotional support. On Saturday, August 29, the Mend community will gather in real life at The Quest for a "treat yourself day" as well as inspiration on how to move past heartache. Mend was founded by ex-Googler Ellen Huerta after she went through a breakup and couldn’t find high quality, affordable support online that wasn’t clinical or cheesy. She’s the co-founder of the Female Founders Alliance in Los Angeles.
