Drawing thousands of Angelenos from all parts of the city, PopUp Dinner LA is an impromptu picnic under the stars where everyone meets up fashioned in white with picnic baskets and table decor, ready to mingle. It's like a flash mob, but instead of choreographed moves, everyone shares charcuterie and beverages. No one knows where it will be until ticket holders are emailed a location two hours before the start of the event, which is part of the fun—even in a city where travel arrangements are crucial to weighing out the evening's options. 

Guests will meet around 5 p.m. to begin setup. Tables and chairs will be provided, and DJ sets will come courtesy of KCRW's Jason Bentley. Dinner starts at 7 p.m. to be followed by entertainment and dancing. Everyone takes home anything that might be left over, and a few hours after the party, no trace is left behind.
