Google L.A. transforms into an art gallery, and more than 50 local artist studios will open their doors to the public this Sunday, May 17th at the annual Venice Art Walk & Auctions, a fundraiser for the Venice Family Clinic.
The silent auction features renowned artists including Peter Alexander, Edgar Arceneaux, Charles Arnoldi, Billy Al Bengston and many more. Check out participating artists here. Behind Google HQ, check out the Community Celebration on Hampton Dr. for food trucks, music, muralists, a dog day care “Barking Lot,” artisan shops and the kid-friendly Imagination Station. Both the auction and community celebration are free to attend, though donations are suggested.
Art exploration continues with the Art Walk Studio Tours, where more than 50 private art studios all located within a two-mile radius of the Google headquarters, open up to the public. Meet the artists and see where the magic happens. Tickets for the studio tours are $50 and include special offers at nearby restaurants and retailers, VIP promotions, and auction discounts on the day of he event. Ticket holders also receive their choice of a 2015 collectible t-shirt or poster. Click here to see this year’s running list of offers.
