Go Topless Day returns to Venice Beach this Sunday, August 28, for the ninth annual "free the nipple" march down Ocean Front Walk. Though the Venice Neighborhood Council voted in favor of equal topless rights last year, it's still illegal in L.A. city.
"We're working toward freeing women's nipples and obtaining equal gender topless rights that are enforced worldwide," said GoTopless spokesperson Beatrice Charles who leads that L.A. branch.
The parade starts at 1 p.m. on the Boardwalk at Navy and continues down Ocean Front Walk toward Windward Plaza. For more information, visit GoTopless Venice Beach.
