Jazz Brunch Fundraiser @ Lincoln Place

The 24th annual Jazz at Lincoln Place is the signature fundraiser for Venice Community Housing. Attendees will enjoy brunch and a live jazz performance by Barbara Morrison. Proceeds from a silent auction will benefit the low-income and unhoused population in Venice and the surrounding area.

Tour de Venice

Sip, sample and shop at the Hotel Erwin's Tour de Venice, a fundraiser event featuring pop-up boutiques throughout the hotel from local artists, businesses and boutiques. There will also be music, food and a VIP lounge at the rooftop bar High.

Pop-up shops include Critical Slide Society, LF Stores Abbot Kinney, Venice Woods, The Ave Venice, Art by Mark Lembo, Art By Jens Lucking and beauty treats from The Harlot Salon. Food and libations come courtesy of Beach House Creamery, Whole Foods Venice, Venice Duck Brewery, Vita Coco, KIND Bars, KRAVE Jerkey and Larry's Venice.

General admission is $10. There's also a VIP pass for $50 that includes access to High Rooftop Lounge hosted by Venice Duck Brewery with snacks. Get tickets here.

Founded by award-winning landscape architect Jay Griffith and Venice Community Housing's Linda Lucks, the event series benefits Venice Community Housing, (VCH), a nonprofit that develops lasting, neighborhood-based solutions for low-income children, families and individuals since 1988.

The Brig's Inaugural Crawfest

Inspired by Rizerfest, The Brig presents its inaugural Crawfest this Sunday at the outdoor parking lot, which will be transformed for the event. It's a good-times crawfish boil, the traditional way: 500lbs of crawfish, Andouille sausage, corn, seasoning, and a pot. Poured directly onto the table. All you can eat. All you can drink Budweiser, plus Sailor Jerry rum cocktails. Make a mess, get your hands dirty. Play a game of cornhole. Get a Sailor Jerry tattoo. Bring your own lawn chair optional.

A portion of proceeds will be donated to Venice Community Housing (www.vchcorp.org), a charitable organization that helps low-income people achieve economic and personal stability through non-profit affordable housing, education, and a comprehensive network of supportive services.
