The Brig on Abbot Kinney will transform into a winter wonderland Sunday, December 7 at the annual Family Fun Day. There will be real snow sledding, crafts, face painting, and SANTA!! (He'll be there until 2 p.m.)
Watch a free outdoor movie at the Santa Monica Pier with family and friends. Front Porch Cinema returns October 3 and runs every Friday through the 24th, starting with Disney's Frozen.
Bring your own low chairs and beach blankets, or rent one of the old-timey lawn chairs available for the event. Food and drinks are also available for purchase. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with DJ jams as you grab snacks and scout spots, and the movie starts at 7:30 p.m.

Bring the kids for story time at TOMS' Milk + Bookies. For every child who attends, they'll donate a book to a local organization benefitting families in need. Kids 3 and up.
Come for a storybook, stay for the singalong. Hayley Starr will be introducing her trio of affirmation-filled and adorably illustrated kids' books including "I Am Boy," "I Am Girl," and "I Am Earth." While the kiddies are occupied, moms and dads would be wise to stock up on holiday gifts such as Starr's signature dresses, charmed jewelry and other mystical, magical finds.
