Alecia Moore (Pink) and Dallas Green (City and Colour) perform their new album "Rose Ave" at the Thom Thom Club in Santa Monica.
This week Pink announced the release of her latest album "Rose Ave," which obviously caught our attention. It was recorded in a "funky little home studio" in Venice. On Rose Ave. All of our Pink run-ins this summer now make total sense. We saw her a few times at Whole Foods and then sat next to her at Oscar's – both located on Rose Ave.
The acoustic album is a collaboration with Dallas Green of City and Colour. They call themselves 'You + Me.' As LA Weekly explains, "They've even taken the added step of using their real names. You + Me is a collaboration between Alecia Moore and Dallas Green, not Pink and City and Colour." They recently played together at the small Thom Thom Club in Santa Monica.
