Selena Souders, one of Venice's most well-know landscape designers and the owner of Big Red Sun, a landscape/hardscape/home design shop on Rose Ave., is turning her talent towards beautifying the neighboring grounds of Venice Family Clinic, a project she believes will benefit the up-and-coming walk street and build momentum toward greening up Rose Ave.
On Saturday, November 9, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Souders, with the help of fellow Rose Ave. businesses and local artists, will host an event at Big Red Sun to raise funds for the collective effort, Rose Reclaimed.
The event will feature a silent auction with items from local designers including Chad Hagerman and other artists, as well as snacks and adult beverages provided by Simon's Market & Wine, the new craft beer and wine shop that took over Rose Market liquor store.
