Simon's Market Takes Over Joe's Liquor On Lincoln Blvd.

Simon's Market, a wine, beer and sundries shop on Rose Avenue, expanded to a second location this week replacing Joe's Liquor on Lincoln Blvd.

The storefront sign reads "Under Construction" but it's open now as the Simon's crew preps for light remodeling and sells off remnant inventory. They're offering all liquor 50 percent off and wine for $10 a bottle—cash only.

On Monday, the shop will shut down for a few weeks to upgrade interiors and re-stock with a similar selection of what's offered at the Rose location including a well curated selection of locally made treats featuring Rose Avenue Sweets, Three Jerks Jerky, Farmer Dave's Hot Nuts, Nomad Snack Co., and more.

As for the Joe's Liquor vintage red neon sign in front, it'll be refurbished, changed to Simon's, and lit up once again.

Simon's new location comes with a liquor license, more refrigerated space for things like craft beer and cheese, and they'll have a dedicated area for an in-store gift shop.

After the renovations, Simon's will re-open in early August.
