Our very first Meet the Makers party at the Lincoln and Rose Pop-Up Gift Shop is a wrap, and we are still warm from the spiked hot cider and festive Venice community spirit.

On Thursday evening, November 20, we shopped for unique jewelry from local makers, sampled delicious pies and desserts from a local bakery, sipped cider and champagne cocktails, modeled funky Venice Vintage holiday sweaters, and grooved to jams styled by our official resident pop-up DJ Glenniest (that's me!).

Nita Blum of Golden Plume was stationed in the front of the shop, hammering initials and custom messages into leather wrap bracelets for the perfect personalized gift. Sadie Gilliam from Freedumb Founded showcased her beautiful hand-crafted rings, necklaces and earrings.

A sweet night was made even sweeter with pies, gingerbread men, and German Christmas stollen to sample from Sinners and Saints. (Everything was so delish, I had to adopt one of the gingerbread men and reserve a "saintly" gluten-free, agave-sweetened pumpkin pie for my Thanksgiving dinner. Yum.)
