Try 30+ Local Eats At Taste Of Venice This Weekend

Eat as much as you like and feel great about doing it. The annual Taste Of Venice returns this Sunday with nearly 40 local restaurants, coffee shops, juiceries and breweries featuring their best bites to fundraise for P.S. Arts, a local non-profit that provides art education to public schools.

This year the event moves from Abbot Kinney to the Lincoln Place Apartments—a midcentury "garden city" complex that was revived as a protected historic landmark and re-inhabited over the last few years. Large communal areas are what make it architecturally significant, and now that the multi-phase restoration is complete, look forward to more community events utilizing the space.

This year's Taste of Venice participants highlight the full range of Venice's culinary scene, from long-time favorites Baby Blues BBQ, La Cabana and Primitivo, to newcomers Plant Food & Wine, Komodo, and the soon-to-debut Firestone Walker Brewing Co. There's also a VIP Tasting Tour with food pairings from Joe Miller of Joe’s Restaurant, Nick Liberato of The Venice Whaler, Phillip Abel of Barnyard Venice, and the Superba team; Vicki Fan, James Trees, Carlos Enriquez, and Brian Weaver. See the full list of vendors here

The event will feature DJ sets, raffle drawings as well as a silent auction.

Tickets to the main event are $100, and VIP access is $150. Raffle tickets can also be purchased in advance online for $10 each.
