Venice Music Crawl & Venice Beach Music Fest Set for Same Day
It's going to be a live music free for all in Venice Beach come Saturday, September 21. The Venice Music Crawl announced plans this week for its "second coming" on that date, also World Peace Day, also the Venice Beach Music Fest - the latter they said, was just a happy coincidence.
The Venice Music Crawl and the Venice Beach Music Fest are unrelated free music events hosted by separate groups, featuring different artists and located in opposite parts of town. But they're both free to the public and sure to bring in lots of visitors in a mutual effort to spark more of a vibrant live music scene on the Westside.
The Venice Music Crawl is set to take place at various independently-curated, makeshift venues along Lincoln Blvd. as it did in the inaugural crawl in June, while the Venice Beach Music Fest will host its eighth annual concert on a single stage at Windward Plaza Park.
Check back this week for announcements on participating artists and venues at the Venice Music Crawl.
