A debut music festival on the Venice Beach Boardwalk featuring more than 25 artists and DJs who are "not too famous" but are about to be, according to the creators of Venice Wave Fest. The free event takes place from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Windward Plaza.

Ohio Players heat things up with '70s funk for the finale performance of this summer's Twilight Concerts. The free show runs from 7 to 10 p.m. Get there early for a spot on the pier or pack a picnic and enjoy it from the beach.

Venice's biggest event of the year returns to Abbot Kinney Blvd this Sunday, September 29. More than 150,000 visitors will be here to enjoy the food, festivities and, of course, the shopping!
