Movie nights on the Santa Monica Pier continue this Friday with a showing of "Labyrinth: 30th Anniversary" starring Goblin King David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. 

A film series for all ages, Front Porch Cinema is free to attend and vendors will be on hand with an assortment of snacks and drinks available for purchase. Old-timey lawn chairs are also available to rent, or you can bring your own.

The 2nd annual OFF THE HOOK Seafood Festival hits the Santa Monica Pier on Saturday, Oct. 1 in honor of National Seafood Month. This community fundraising event showcases the city's best restaurants and chefs with dishes featuring their favorite underwater ingredients such as oysters, shrimp, sushi, fish and tuna. Attendees will enjoy food and drink tastings, beer garden, live music, games, activities and more, and can also purchase a ticket to the Santa Monica Seafood Sustainable VIP Lounge, which includes tastings from select, sustainable restaurants, as well as cocktails and preferred seating in a designated area. OFF THE HOOK benefits theWestside Food Bank and raises awareness for the sustainable seafood movement through a partnership with Seafood for the Future.

Seafood lovers, this one's for you. The first Off The Hook Seafood Festival at the Santa Monica Pier features live music, cold beer and chef demonstrations from popular seafood spots including The Lobster, Gladstone's, Geoffrey's Malibu, FIG Santa Monica, Del Frisco's Grille, The Farm, Catch, The Albright, Santa Monica Seafood, Il Grano, Jolly Oyster, Manchego, Bubba Gump, Rusty's Surf Ranch, Whiskey Red's, Gardein and more. The fundraiser event benefits Seafood For The Future.

General admission includes all-you-can-eat and drink (beer, wine & champagne tastings & coffee) and access to the main stage with live music, educational pavilion, oyster shucking contest & more. Early bird tickets are $60 until October 10, and then go to $70.

VIP tickets get you access to the Sustainable Seafood Lounge presented by Santa Monica Seafood and Green Bar Distillery with beer, wine, curated cocktails, reserved seating, raw bar, chef demos and more.Early bird tickets are $90 until October 10, and then go to $100.

Upbeat '80s funk sets the tone for the first Twilight Concert of the summer at The Santa Monica Pier with Prince protege Morris Day & The Time playing with Dam Funk.

The 80-year-old tradition continues. The Paddleboard Race and Ocean Festival is back with a full day of paddleboard and swim competitions, a pop-up surf museum, food, drinks, music, kids' activities and more entertainment. Presented by Tommy Bahama to benefit Heal The Bay.

After running a 5K, you can keep your natural buzz humming with wine at the finish line on the Santa Monica Pier. The Chardonnay Run will also have complimentary wine and cheese for participants and a post-race bash with live music, food trucks, and your besties who've come to toast your accomplishment.

Start times are 9 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 10 a.m.

Wanderlust 108 is a “mindful triathlon” that brings three events together at the Santa Monica Pier this Saturday: a 5k run, outdoor yoga and a guided meditation.

There will also be live bands and DJs on the main stage, hooping on the lawn, slacklining, acroyoga, and local craft vendors.
